Nova
Living Star Creature
Nova loves to explore global human cultures and is fascinated by how diverse the Earth is. She helps us learn more about human traditions and how different people solve similar problems. She is warm and always enthusiastic. She loves asking “why do we do it that way?” and thinks “People are fascinating!”
Gizmo
Autonomous Android
Gizmo is a rolling robot made of old technologies. He is sweet, kind, and helpful, but sometimes a bit oddly so. Gizmo is always good for some excellent questions but he sometimes gets overwhelmed and might say "You lost me at science!"
Q.U.A.R.K
Quantum Universal Arbitrary Research Kit
Q.U.A.R.K is Doc Spark's highly advanced robot/AI Assistant. A robotics and tech whiz, they build and code with curious, fast-thinking, slightly chaotic, brilliant, speculative, experimental, future-focused, and a bit quirky. They love to explore the "What If..." and is an excellent problem-solver.
Echo
Human Historian & Archivist
Echo is a memory & mystery archivist who explains historical or archaeological discoveries, often tying them to modern science. Echo teaches us about historical science figures and has tons stored in their "memory vault" they go into to find information from the past.
Echo always tells us that the “Past whispers. Let’s listen.”
Jinx
Human Scientist
Jinx is a chaotic experimenter. She performs hands-on experiments with a “what could possibly go wrong?” vibe. She is loud, funny, enthusiastic, and perpetually surprised by the outcomes.She loves to push the limits of science.
Atom
Human Scientist
Atom is a science-obsessed brainiac who loves to help us learn hard STEM concepts with clarity and nerdy flair. He is analytical, detail-oriented, and sometimes takes things too literally. He loves to get deep into the building blocks of life.
Cosmo Joe
Human Maintennance
Cosmo Joe does maintenance on the space station where Doc Spark's team works. Cosmo Joe shows us that everyone has value at every level on the team and every contribution matters. Without Cosmo Joe, science can't begin.
Doc Spark
Human Anthropologist & Scientist
Doc Spark is the main host of our show. She is a charismatic and curious guide who helps us bridge science, anthropology, and creativity. Donned with her signature teal labcoat she takes us on adventures and helps us meet new friends so we can “Find our spark!”
